Griha Pravesh is a traditional Vedic ritual that is performed when we enter a newly built or newly purchased property for the first time.Griha Pravesh is a ceremony performed on the occasion of one’s 1st entry into a brand new house. Once the home is prepared, the family moves in on an auspicious day that’s determined by the astronomy charts. Purity of panchang (almanac) and auspicious time (muhurat) should be considered throughout the griha pravesh. Three kinds of griha pravesh have been mentioned in our ancient scriptures:
गृह प्रवेश एक पारंपरिक वैदिक अनुष्ठान है जो तब किया जाता है जब हम नव निर्मित या नए खरीदे हुए घर मे पहली बार प्रवेश करते हैं। गृह प्रवेश एक समारोह है, जो नए घर में किसी के पहला प्रवेश के अवसर पर किया जाता है। एक बार घर तैयार जो जाने पे, पूरा परिवार एक शुभ दिन मे घर मे जाते है, जो कि खगोल विज्ञान चार्ट द्वारा निर्धारित होता है। पंचांग (पंचांग) और शुभ समय (मुहूर्त) की पवित्रता गृह प्रवेश के दौरान किया जाना चाहिए। गृह प्रवेश को तीन प्रकार से हमारे प्राचीन ग्रंथों में उल्लेख किया गया है:
Apoorva: first entry to newly created house on a newly selected land is called apoorva (new) griha pravesh.
अपूर्व: एक नव चयनित भूमि पर नव निर्मित घर में पहली प्रवेश को अपूर्व (नया) गृह प्रवेश कहा जाता है।
Sapoorva: Entry into An already existing house after travelling abroad or migration elsewhere is named sapoorva griha pravesh.
सपूर्व: पहले से मौजूद घर मे विदेश यात्रा या प्रवास से आने के बाद प्रवेश को ही सपूर्व गृह प्रवेश कहा जाता है।
Dwandwah: Entry into a house to once reconstruction or renovation subsequent to damage because of fire, flood or earthquake, is termed as dwandwah (old) griha pravesh.
द्वंद्वन: एक बार पुनर्निर्माण या मरम्मत हुए घर जो आग, बाढ़ या भूकंप की वजह से नुकसान हुआ हो, उन घरों मे प्रवेश को द्वंद्वन (पुराने) गृह प्रवेश के रूप में कहा जाता है।
For apoorva griha pravesh, the precise auspicious time need to be adhered to. For sapoorva griha pravesh or dwandwah griha pravesh, the purity of the panchang ought to be given due thought.
अपूर्व गृह प्रवेश के लिए, सटीक शुभ समय का पालन किए जाने की जरूरत है। सपूर्व गृह प्रवेश या द्वंद्वन गृह प्रवेश के लिए, पंचांग की पवित्रता पर ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए।
Things You need For Griha Pravesh Puja (चीजें जो गृह प्रवेश पूजा के लिए की जरुरी है)
- Idol of Lord Ganesh Lakshmi (भगवान गणेश लक्ष्मी की मूर्ति)
- Kalash or a pot that is full filled by water (कलश या एक बर्तन जो कि पूरा जल से भर हो)
- Toran or mango leaves in a string to be hung on the door (एक धागा में तोरण या आम के पत्तों को बांध कर दरवाजे पर टांगना है)
- Puja things (turmeric, kum kum, incense sticks, lamp, sandalwood paste, fruits, flowers, sweets etc.)
पूजा बातें (हल्दी, कुम कुम, अगरबत्ती, दीपक, चंदन, फल, फूल, मिठाई आदि)
- Items for havan (havan vessel, firewood, ghee, havan powder, matches etc.)
हवन का सामान (हवन कुंड, जलाऊ लकड़ी, घी, हवन पाउडर, माचिस आदि)
- Milk (दूध)
- Vessel (पतीला)
Important issue to be followed (महत्वपूर्ण बातें जो पालन कारण चाहिए)
- On a similar day of Griha Pravesh the owner with spouse and kids ought to stay over night.
गृह प्रवेश के ही दिन घर पे घर का मालिक अपने पत्नी और बच्चों के साथ पुरे रात भर घर मे ही रहना चाहिए।
- They should not keep the house locked.
उन लोगो को घर बंद कर के नहीं रखना चाहिए और अंधेरे में के रूप में यह बीमार किस्मत लाने के लिए माना जाता है।
- House warming ceremony shouldn’t be performed once the woman of the home is pregnant.
घर वार्मिंग समारोह नहीं किया जाना चाहिए जब कोई घर की महिला गर्भवती हो।
